Worldclass

For the first time in Norlington’s history, we will be taking part in a huge project involving the BBC, London 2012 and The British Council. The project, Worldclass, is to promote the Olympic values across the globe by connecting schools together.

The project runs up to the London 2012 games and we are proud to say that Norlington is linked to Plymouth College.

Worldclass at Norlington School for Boys

The BBC partnered with schools all around the world who have Olympic athletes as pupils. Then other schools across the globe were asked to join the Worldclass project. The schools (Norlington included) had to answer ‘why do you want to be a part of Worldclass’

Chris from 9P spent a weekend in meeting students and teachers from Worldclass participating schools. He met people from the USA, Mongolia, Jamaica, Kosovo and loads more. Chris had to present Norlington to everyone. Check out what was presented and some photos that were taken over the weekend. (Full display).

When We Met Everyone

The project involves a lot of work. Each month we will upload all the things that have done for the project. The first things that were made was a short presentation introducing Norlington and a display that shows how all of the schools are linked together.
